26-Point Landing Page Audit Checklist
Use this checklist before you spend money on traffic. Work through one page at a time, mark each item as yes or no, and fix the first three gaps—not every item at once.
1. Clarity
- The first five words say who the page is for.
- The first screen states the customer outcome, not just the product category.
- The primary action is visible without scrolling.
- Only one primary action competes for attention.
- A visitor can explain what you offer after five seconds.
2. Offer and CTA
- The primary CTA uses a result-focused verb.
- The secondary CTA does not compete with the primary action.
- The form asks only for necessary fields.
- The submit button describes the result.
- The visitor knows what happens after clicking.
3. Trust and objections
- Relevant proof appears near the decision point.
- Proof is specific, not generic praise.
- Setup effort is explained.
- Privacy or data boundaries are explained.
- The main objection is answered near the CTA.
4. Pricing and risk
- Price or plan boundaries are easy to find.
- What is included is clear.
- What is excluded is clear.
- Refund or cancellation policy is visible.
- The page explains who should not buy.
5. Mobile and speed
- The primary mobile action is visible on first load.
- Tap targets are at least 44px.
- Forms are usable on a phone.
- The page loads without blocking visual issues.
6. Search and measurement
- The title and meta description match buyer intent.
- You know this week’s success event.
